Description

Truth and truth-telling are central features of Christian life. Christians are called to be witnesses to the truth; the mission of the Church is to share the truth; and Christians worship a God who is Truth. Our 2023 Conference, Truth in Public and Private Life, seeks to explore the Christian orientation to truth: what norms of truth should govern our communication and inquiries? In what ways should our political lives be governed by and for truth? And how can the Church strive more effectively to communicate truth, both doctrinal and moral? Panels and keynote addresses will be devoted to these and related topics.
