Cardinal O’Boyle Award Most Rev. William E Lori
Founders Award Sr. Dr. Hanna Klaus

Description

This convention addresses the relationship between religion and faith, and science. Increasingly, a secular “scientism” sees faith and religion and outmoded, irrational, and in fundamental tension with the values, methods, and outcomes of the empirical sciences. This conference will address these claims and alleged tensions. Our keynote speakers include Stephen Barr, Maureen Condic, and Michael Behe. Our panel discussions cover topics such as the new atheists, the Aristotelian tradition of natural philosophy and its continuing relevance, faith and scientific method, and more.
