GENERAL SUMMARY: The Benefits Specialist/Manager is responsible for administering the day to day activities of the group benefits programs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Benefits Specialist will administer plans and serve as liaison with employees, benefit providers, benefit broker and other third-party vendors as necessary, ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local laws.
Provides other HR support as necessary.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience administering comprehensive benefit plans for a multi-location employer.
* Demonstrated current knowledge of HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ACA, ADA and applicable federal and state laws.
* Experience with ADP HRIS software.
* Practicing Catholic with knowledge of EWTN’s mission.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
* Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field required/strongly preferred.
* Certifications such as CEBS, CCP, PHR/SPHR preferred.
