Position Description:

The Department of Theology at Benedictine College invites outstanding teacher-scholars to apply for a tenure track appointment in Theology starting Fall 2018. The successful candidate should be a dynamic teacher who is competent as a generalist in Catholic theology. Ideally, the candidate would teach courses in both our Theology and Evangelization/Catechesis programs; therefore, teaching competency in the latter areas is preferred. The candidate should be willing to seek enthusiastically the mandatum from the Archbishop and make an Oath of Fidelity in accordance with Ex Corde Ecclesiae. Applicants should also possess a Doctorate in Theology. We anticipate hiring at the assistant professor level but will consider applications for higher ranks from outstanding candidates.
